Dear All,
Since former SAP GUI times we are using server config files in our company to avoid decentralized editing and creation of logon entries.
Admins were able to modify the central server config files SAPLogon.ini oder as follows:
saplogon.exe /INI_FILE=\\server\folder\saplogon.ini
saplogon.exe /INI_FILE=´\\server\folder\sapuilandscape.xml
This worked fine for regluar SAP Logon connection entries - but SAP Business Client allows us to create new connection entries for SAP Fiori or SAP Business Client.
How can admins modify/create such Fiorio or Busines Client connection entries in the server config files? How can we start edition the SAP UI Landscape server file?
Thanks
Matthias
Hello
Two things.
First
Set the server config file using registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SAP\SAPLogon\Options\LandscapeFileOnServer
Secondly.
Stop editing by a parameter in the NWBCoptions.xml file.
In
C:\ProgramData\SAP\NWBC\NwbcOptions.xml add one string:
<ShowConnectionsAsReadOnly>True</ShowConnectionsAsReadOnly>
Issue resolved.

Hi Matthias,
Fiori and Business client connections are maintained in the saluilandscape.xml file as well. So it is the same way as you are used to.
You can add a connection to your own local file stored in c:\users\<username>\appdata\sap\common to see an example.
