Hi,
I am trying to run a sample HANA auto classification in expert analytics by creating a live connection with HANA database. The data set I am using is claims dataset that I downloaded from the githublink of SAP HANA academy page. I am always getting following error:
HANA AUTO CLASSFICAITON: An error occurred while executing the query.
Details:
cause: Error details: SPA DBtech JDBC:[7]: feature not supported: can not use WITH OVERVIEW OPTION for nested calls: line 11 col 108(at pos 790)
Has anyone else come across similar error?
Note: I am using SAP PA 2.5 with HANA Revision 1.00.110.00.1447753075
Thanks

Hi Rajiv, you are using HANA SPS11 and we do not claim support with PA 2.5. This being said, if you can retrieve the Expert Analytics logs, they may be worthwhile to have a look at. Can you try running Automated Analytics classification directly? You can delegate the creation of the training model, provided that you install APL on the HANA side. Thanks & regards Antoine

Hi, I did run AUTO classification directly by delegating training task to SAP HANA but for some reasons it is taking lot of time.Nevertheless, it did finish successfully. Let me ask you this, would it make any difference from performance point of view if I run auto classification through Expert Analytics vs Automated Analytics? Another reason for using expert analytics is to be able to export the model in to stored procedure, which is not possible by Automated Analytics. Attached is the log file. Thanks Rajiv kumar
Thanks for the update Rajiv, yes you have a good point it's totally fine to use Expert Analytics, was just trying to unblock you.
Sorry but I am not clear what ran with success or not.
Are you saying the workflow works with Automated Analytics but not with Expert Analytics "Auto Classification" algorithm?
Thanks & regards Antoine
Hi Rajiv, many thanks for the clarification. I'll bring the Expert Analytics related problems to the attention of the proper SAP team to understand a bit more, but I suspect that the error is caused by the HANA version you use and the fact that SAP Predictive Analytics 2.5 does not support it.
Thanks & regards Antoine
See a similar thread that ended up with the conclusion I mention.
