Is it possible to extend Success Factors with trial user in HCP?

(Without Token)

If it is possible please teach me how to do it?

Hello Megumi,

Can you please clarify what your planning to do by pairing Success Factors instance with HCP trial account ? if your just interesting in learning how extension apps works on HCP trial account, please refer this Github link "https://github.com/SAP/cloud-sfsf-benefits-ext" which has sample benefits sample that you can deploy on HCP trial account and test it out. Check the section "Run the Application on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform Trial Account".

As far i know i don't think you can register HCP trial account with Success Factors instance without integration token using Success Factors provisioning account . That being said with trial account you will not be able to do lot of things like automated configuration option does with SAP HANA Cloud Platform "Prod" account .

For all the productive use cases prefer way is pairing Success Factors instance with SAP HANA Cloud Platform extension account using success factor provisioning account. Please refer "SAP HANA Cloud Platform, Extension Package for SAP SuccessFactors Implementation Guide" for required configuration steps.

I started to study and work for SuccessFactors since last month.

My task is to test the extensions in SF using function from HCP. I found that I can try the extensions within HCP and will try it.

Unfortunetely, I only have a trial user of HCP, I can not get a integration token.

My Superior asked me to test SF extensions and report it.

I struggle it now.

I'm searching info about the same issue. I have a HCP trial account and SFSF sales account, no productive accounts. I'm not sure if I can configure a HCP trial account as a extension account of SuccessFactors, I believe it's not possible because I can't configure the Provisioning side on SFSF sales account and I can't change Role Provider on HCP trial account but someone knows if it is possible?

I would like develop a extension application on HCP to check the principal propagation concepts,

• Is it possible get role user from SFSF in javascritp app running on HCP (Once you have configured as extension account)? Or for the moment we need a extra layer in java?
