0Material Data Load Issue - Allowed Value Lengths

Hi,

     I have a data load for 0MATERIAL in BW 7.3 running on 3.x dataflow.

This 3.x data load successfully loads 2 materials say 00000123 (Length 😎 and 000000000000000123 (Length 18).

My 7.4 data load rejects the 00000123 material saying it is invalid.

I am trying to figure out why the 7.3 3.x dataflow allows the 00000123 Material and 7.4 does not.

Both systems have transaction OMSL properly configured for 18 char and personally it makes sense that the 00000123 material is invalid.  Maybe the check in 7.4 is more comprehensive somehow.

Any ideas?

Ok, it looks like the invalid materials were generated somehow on the Source BW System.  For now I will exclude the errant offending materials via Start Routine..   Thanks
