Hi Experts,
I am working on the cost distribution scenario.
while running the posting i am facing the following problem.
Account XXXXXX requires an assignment to a CO object.
I have maintained IT0027 & have a variant in place for running the posting.
In both the case normal posting run & Clearing account- Posting run system is not able to pick up the cost center.
But the same cost center when i am using it at the Position / Org.Unit level system is able to pick that up & running the posting successfully.
What could be the reason why system is not able to read the cost center when maintained in IT 0027 but is able to read the same when maintained at the Organization or Position level.
Please guide me on the same.

I have noticed one thing that though i am maintaining 0027 if we do not maintaining the cost centers OKB9 then the posting doesn't happen.
Is it mandatory to maintain both i mean HR-27 & FI-OKB9.
Please confirm as till now i have not come across this anywhere.

I have checked the probability as well.
Both of them with different position assignments are working fine.
But when the matter comes for cost distribution it is giving the prob.
I have spoke to my FI team also but they are still not able to pickup the missing connection.

The Payroll result is available..though not changed the control record status.
If i maintain the same cost center as i said at the Org.Unit / Position level in OM the system is accepting / reading the details of the cost center from 0001 & posting is taking place.
When i change the assignment & try to process the cost center through 27, it is generating incorrect documents.
Please guide me on this, is there any issues in variant mapping.
