SUM error in RUTDDLSCREATE

Im in phase RUN_RUTDDLSCREATE_TRANS and i fails with:

failed with code 2 key RFC_LOGON_FAILURE: :00:162 DB-Error - -10709

1EETQ204 Upgrade phase "RUN_RUTDDLSCREATE_TRANS" aborted with severe errors ("20160517112614")

I can log in to system with user DDIC ok? I can see this error in SM21:

Database error -10807 at EXE

It seems like the process is killing the system itself??

What to do? I have tried to restart process several times, but everytime the process is killed.

Problem solved by SAP support.

Note 2275220 did the trick...

Thanks a lot for your information sharing.

I also face this error today and do according to note  2275220 - SAP HANA DB: Crash in sub-plan sharing optimization for Revision 111.

Addtionally, I have to kill the hanging background job RUTDDLSCREATE and then continue the error step.

Hi Jakob,

Can you please paste the log for the phase RUN_RUTDDLSCREATE_TRANS?

Also let us know the instance number of original system and shadow system.

Hi

I have attached the log... As you can see the communication with the system in general is ok (a lot of statuscalls for the job).

Theres is no shadow system. Its the "Single System mode".

Hi Jakob,

You need to check the jobs why it is taking so much time.

You have to run SM37 and enter the jobname and check the status of the job.

It might getting cancelled or getting hang.

Also check from the database log , why the connection is getting broken.

Are you getting any dump in the system in st22 and error logs in sm21?

Yes i know - when i check SM37 the job is running fine. But then suddently the process is cancelled:

But i am pretty sure that the error is caused by the job itself. And i cannot find any interesting in the DB log - but i might be looking in the wrong place? Its a HANA db...

Hi Jakob

The RUN_RUTDDLSCREATE_TRANS phase fails at RFC Logon, please check the corresponding RFC & do a connection test , authorization test etc.

Have you make sure that you have set to scheduled all batch job and no other running background job ?

Please check whether there is someone lock the db tables in sm12.

Can you paste the dump details from ST22, if any?

Also attach trace/logs from HANA studio when error occurred.
