Goods receipt exceeds production confirmation quantity

Dear Scn's,

If i create production order for 10 and i did partial confirmation of finished product for 5 quantity then system allows to enter greater than confirmation quantity i.e., 5 quantity without an error. I want to restrict users not to allow more than confirmation quantity, please suggest how to do this.

Why don't you use the Auto good receipt functionality through production scheduling profile OPKP or control key OP00?

Kindly have a look on the production ordr ->goods receipt tab. Is there any tolerance maintained in the same. Check the material master -> Work scheduling tab for tolerance.

Also have a look on the OPK4 for the order type settings. and check the setting as "over delivery tolerance not checked".

Additionally make sure:

a. no overdelivery % maintained in master data work scheduling tab

b. no overdelivery % maintained in the order data

c. 'unlimited overdelivery' is not checked in the order data.

Please check the functional solutions received. You should go for user-exit as a last resort. And it will be developed through discussion between you and your ABAPer.

It sounds like you want to have checks during GR

You need to explore user-exits in MIGO area (most probably MBCF0002)

OR

Use Implicit Enhancement Points in the program SAPLMIGO
