Make to order sap SD

HI Experts ,

As per requirement i have configured make to order scenario , in which i am creating planned order from sales order and

production order in MD04 from planned order . During creation order system is showing contract no in sales order tab instead

instead of sales . As result in MMBE system is showing is showing contract no in sales order stock . Please help to solve the issue .

The behavior you describe is standard.   Take a look at https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1516971

The rules are similar, for orders created with reference to contracts.

Hi

Check the value of VBAP-VBELV for your sales order items. As far as I remember, though I'm not entirely sure, this field is filled with reference document number if item has a special stock indicator, and though transfer of requirements is done for the subsequent document, production is done for the preceeding document in SAP standard. You may need to double check this in your test system with two examples: A make to stock production with a sales order without a contract, and a make to stock production with a sales order with reference to a contract
