Hi Team,

We are seeing the below error in the SMP logs in our production environment.Please help.

we are using SAP WorkManager6.1 and SMP3.0 SP08.

Based on your experience in working with this, we have given several actions/solutions via the SAP incident. Please confirm your final solution that worked for you and share it in the community (SAP notes and others).  Ex: SAP KBA/note # 2041039 or 2124330 or 2314297 or 2260950 (known solution - increase the number here to a higher number http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2260950 ).

Hi Mark,

Still we are experiencing the problem even after trying the solutions suggested.

We need to know the impact of keeping the CPIC_MAX_CONV to higher number 2000.

As we observed some performance issues in ECC.

Could you please check the KBA/Notes below steps by steps and have a test?

1. 1507034 - Max number of gateway connections / Maximum number of conversations exceeded

2. 2106385 - PUSH not working for SSO users with non-sap usernames

3. 2256914 - Stale JCO connections result from certain network disruptions

4. 2244802 - Communication Error 14 due to backend sessions in ECC are not terminated - SAP Work Manage...

5.2041039 - Enable Stateful Connections
