Hi.

I'm installing EHP8 for ERP6.0 and getting error[ASE Error SQL 1105].

I think I have to increase DB size, but I don't understand DB which have to resize.

Plese tell me which DB I should resize and recommended size.

# my DB drive's size is 49.6GB

And the error message says "use ALTER DATABASE", but I can't connect DB(isql).

So that means, I have no other choise then stop installation and install again?

In couclusion, I want to know

  1. Which DB I should resize? (if you know, please teach item name of SWPM)

  2. How much DB size?

  3. Getting this error during the installation by SWPM, do you have other idea then stop and install again?

Regards,

Ryoko

Hi Ryoko.

I think you have to check the DB log free space? refer the SAP KBA for the error message "ASE Error SQL 1105"

1931223 - Error 1105 segment is full - SAP ASE

Hi,

the error is [Can't allocate space for object 'SMIMCONT1' because 'default' segment is full/has no free extents. If you ran out of space in syslogs, dump the transaction log. Othewise, use ALTER DATABASE to increase the size of the segment.].

and I check the note which shared by Mr.Sriram,

I notice I haven't enabled the automatic expansion.

I try it.
