Display Contract number in Tcode ME5A

Dear all

I have question about Tcode Me5A

When I run report ME5A, there are 2 column is PO and Outline agreement. As I know, if I creat PO reference to PR, PO number will be display in hear, but some case is not true.

For example: When I creat Contract reference to PR, Contract number will be display in PO column and when I creat PR reference to contract, Contract number will be display in Outline agreement column. My customer want to follow report and wish PO colunm only display PO number.

Anyone can explain for me, it's standard or system error?

Good Morning . I understand what you are going true.  i had the same problem  which i reported on SCN but my question was dismissed. i would tell you this fact. When you reference a PR to create Contract, it is best Practice to always reference your PR to create PO.The reason is that it would give you a proper track in your report, but if on the other hand you  reference your contract to create your PO you would not be  able to track your PO history  from the PR link in your contract report, when you run any of the T-code for reporting contract. hope this answer your question .

The reason is very simple .Contract and PO shares the same table and structures.

So you will get this kind of problem .It is as per SAP Design .No need to worry .

Hi, Exactly . It all depends upon the preceding document created with the PR . normally the preceding document will be the PO . conceptually the answers below are also true . Regards
