Auto HU

Hi gurus,

I have created a pack spec for one material and it is creating automatic HU for Inbound delivery via Purchase Order.

But when I am using same material for Expected Goods Receipt system is not triggering automatic HU .

Do I have missed any configuration .

Hello Abhishek,

there are never HUs in the Expected Goods Receipt. The EGR is just a template that you can copy to create an inbound delivery that is consistent with the purchase order (PO document and item number, product, plant and business partner have to fit together).

The actual warehosue execution takes place ión teh inbound delivery. This is where you would create the HUs.

Hi Katrin,

Please understand my issue .

System is not creating auto HU when I am creating Inbound delivery w.r.t  EGR .

But for same material if I create Inbound delivery w.r.t Purchase Order system is creating auto HU's.

Hi Abhishek,

If you create the inbound delivery against PO , you can get the document type 'INB' and against that option is there for 'Determination Procedure for Packaging Material Proposal'.

But for expected goods receipt , you can do the physical goods receipt against the EGRE document and once you save that, IBD can be generated.

here for EGRE process document type is 'EGRE' and there is no option for  'Determination Procedure for Packaging Material Proposal'.

So you mean there is no way for automatic packing for ID created using EGR ?

As per my knowledge, it can not be create Auto-HU in IBD which is created wrt to EGR.
