Last Price Change did not update while MBEW is updated...

Hi Folks,

We have encountered an issue in our production system which is as below :

There is a material for which standard price was received on 03/31/2016 via IDOC and it got updated perfectly fine in system which can be confirmed by seeing change log in MM03 for that material.

Now, the current standard price of the same material is set as zero but I am not able to see any change log for the same. Also, last price change field is not updated in this case. That also is showing as blank only.

So, kindly suggest how can I check who updated the value from what was received  in IDOC to zero and what could be the reason that last price change field did not get updated here.

Any help is really appreciated.

It's resolved.

Functional consultant opened the periods of next month on last day of current month due to which all the postings for last day of current month happened as if they are under previous period.

And so, history for MBEW was updated while current value was not updated.

To check who updated the price and when they have updated you can find with below t-codes

CKMPCSEARCH ---to see along with who changed price

if you have price change document we can use this t-code to get the information

Price change happen through the transaction MR21. You can check the price change documents for any material by call the transaction MR51 and the respective document type is PR.
