HI I have never heard of this before. I was speaking to a potential client. They provide medical services. They use a vendor package called Allscripts which comes with 'canned' Crystal reports. They were saying that they cannot locate the sources. And also I am not sure if they have any sort of menu system because I had said so you get them emailed and they said no, just printouts.
How to check for the sources? And would you recommend any menu system ?
The reports may very will be compiled into the code so that they are not accessible as separate .rpt files - this can be done with applications created in Visual Studio - I'm not sure whether reports can be compiled into Java .jar files. I would start by searching for *.rpt in the folder where the software is installed. If you find the .rpt files, you can then open them in Crystal as Denis suggested.

you should contact the vendor that provided the package or investigate those reports in Crystal Reports designer.
