SMP 3.0 Sp10 PL01 - Unable to load IM4.2.1 on the agnetry client

Hi Experts,

Deployed the IM4.2.1 successfully on the SMP console and on the browser and got the message ' i am here '. When trying to launch the application on agentry client got an error public key failure. Downloaded the certificates from trusted CA roots under the certificates on the settings option along with the local certificate on SMP console. Please suggest.

Thanks,

Prathima

1) For the "I am here" message does it show a certificate error?

2) In the events.log does it shows the keys were loaded successfully (<server>\log\agentry)?

It does not give any  certificate error message at all.

2) In the events.log does it shows the keys were loaded successfully (<server>\log\agentry)?

i get this error in the events log

05/16/2016 11:35:52, 0,         0,         2, Thr       6956, Loading the Agentry Runtime's public/private key for password exchanges.

Hi Stephen,

I am not sure how to identify the appropriate Machine key for the SMP server that is on our landscape. Please help me in that.

Thanks,

Prathima

Hi Stephen,

I have tried the following steps :

.

1. Navigate to the C:\Users\All Users\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys folder

2. As an administrator edit the files using a text editor and look for the path to your SMP3.0 server installation.  You are looking for a reference to the directory where your SMP3.0 server is installed.

3. Delete the key (will probably need admin rights to do so) or move it to a temporary folder

4. Restart the SMP3.0 server as a user (using the Service\go.bat)

5. You sholud see the key recreated as the same filename

6. Verify the key loaded in your startup.log file

As per the steps copied all the keys from the folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys to a temp folder except one key as it was giving a access denial message on this key as shown below and there is no new time stamp that gets created after i run the step 4 with (using the Service\go.bat) and tried to run agentry client with the application link and i still get the error. Please suggest to help me move forward.

Thanks,

Prathima

Hi,

It seems there might also be an authorization issue.

Hope your ATE and server are in different drives. We resolved similar issue by providing read/write access to the respective folders.

Thanks & regards,

Hi Sravanthi Polu,

We are trying to resolve this issue since 5-6 hours now, we have our Mobile SDK3 (ATE) and the MobilePlatform3 server both in the same drive.

Thanks,

Prathima

Hi,

Please verify if there is any .lock file generated in the application folder of SMP server.

If yes, then delete that file and try to perform sync.

Thanks & Regards,

Sravanthi.
