Group Asset Value

Hi,

I have created a normal asset which has a value of Rs 500000. Now I have also created a group asset, I need to know how can I bring the value from the normal asset of Rs 500000. Pls advice.

Thank You All, Its done now. I have both acquisition value appearing perfectly in AW10N with correct book depreciation value in SLM format as well as the group asset value with correct tax depreciation in WDV format.

However in AW10N, when I click on the tax depreciation, the values no longer appeared in the screen. I am able to see that now in AS23.

AO21- Screen layout for dep areas. Allow or mandate GROUP ASSET for Area 15

Specify an asset class to manage group asset

Now create group asset , followed by main asset. It should link main asset with group asset

Now do F-90

Hi Das,

Check the dep.area settings maintained for the group assets dep.area? If it is not for real time posting, then check the APC values setting for the area. Here it should have the area 01 in OABC.

HI Mukhtar,

I have checked the settings. I also created a new asset and passed F-90, however the value is still not flowing to group asset. I checked in AS-23. Also in AW01N, both Book Dep and Tax Dep is showing the save depreciation values for the given period.

Hi Subha,

What are the settings maintained for the area in OABC? If possible,share screen shot of it. And also check the dep.area settings in OADB.

Hi Subha,

1. Remove identical check box for the dep.area 15.

2. Have you selected group assets check box for the dep.area 15 in OAYM

3. Have you selected asset class for group assets in OAAX
