Palletization In Shipment costing

Dear All,

We have an export scenario, where we create delivery from Plant to port location with respect to STO in VL10d. For same, we do shipment and shipment costing.

Client require to capture the pallet cost at the time of shipment costing. We do not use handling unit management in our organization. Please let me know where and how i can capture the number of pallets used in delivery and how the cost can be calculated for the same,

Hi,

in delivery header you can use field no. of packages (likp-anzpk).

Try to set up you pricing condition based on number of shipping Units (calculation type S)

user want to inventorize the cost of pallet and freight what settings / config i need to do for the same.

Hi,

you can check creation of shipment costs via TK11 condition maintenance.

Hope this is what is meant by "inventorization of cost".

Do the pallets need to be included in the actual shipment costing or simply at the time of shipment costing?

Some sites choose to create a finished goods item for pallets and the cost of the pallets are applied to the final invoice (as a costed packaging item) but I personally haven't seen anyone adding them to the shipment cost itself.
