Dear Experts,
We are having 3 system landscape in our organization. We having both ECC & CRM system. Below are the charts.
ECC | CRM | |
Dev | ECD | CRD |
QAS | ECQ | CRQ |
PRD | ECP | CRP |
CRM QAS to ECC QAS Middle ware connectivity configured and CRM Production to ECC Production Middleware configuration is there.
Our DB platform is Oracle. Now we will do the QAS system refresh (both CRM and ECC). We will use backup/Restore method the below link:
Now my question is as all the Data and config at QAS will be refreshed by production... what are the Data for example RFC, we need to keep backup specially to continue the QAS system Middlware and other functionality? Please help me to avoid any problem? and how to take these backup?

Hi Asaduzzaman,
Please refer to below 2 notes related to SAP CRM copy:
564435 - Additional information on CRM System copy
886104 - System Landscape Copy for SAP CRM
Procedure to take backup of all RFC connections through Transport Of Copies.
1. Create Transport of Copies request through SE10 transaction and make sure that target system has given while creating transport request.
2. After creating request just double click on request and go to Objects tab and give all RFC Tables (RFCDES,RFCATTRIB,RFCDOC,RFCSYSACL,RFCTA,RFCDESSECU,RFCGO,RFCCHECK,RFCTRUST,RFCTYPE) as below and save it.
3. Double click on each object name and give * for Table Keys.
4. Release Request by clicking on Truck button (before releasing again make sure that target system has given)
5. Check cofile and datafile at OS level to make sure that transport request released successfully.

Below are the tables you need to export.
TSP03 - Printers
E070L - Transport request
USR, AGR -> export usermasters and profiles
RFCDES - RFC destinations
V_TBDLS - Partner profiles
Note - For user master you can just take an export using SCC7.
You may find below document helpful as it has deep insight in the Copy procedure for SAP Systems.
