Guidelines for customers implementing SuccessFactors that have SAP Fiori for ESS

Hi All,

I have a client that is considering implementing SuccessFactors. We have recently completed an installation of SAP Fiori with mostly ESS/MSS use cases (Leave Request, Leave Approval, Employee Lookup, Team Calendar, People Profile). What considerations should the client take into account regarding a potential impact on Fiori implementation.

- If these processes move to SF, will there be an mobile interface to interact.

- Would Fiori act as a launching point directly into these transactions.

- Are there maturity issues with SF mobile device support that would warrant these processes to remain in SAP HCM?

Has anyone been through a similar change?

Hi Sergio,

Funny to hear that your client has invested implementing these and at the "same" time thinking of going to SuccessFactors. If the intent is to move to Employee Central and to have it being the System of Record, you would not really need to use the Fiori apps that you just implemented.

The SuccessFactors People Profile 3 and the new mobility is really UI5 and Fiori Like.
