Dear SAP Experts,

we wanted to reverse return delivery using VL09 , but we are getting below error:

"Deficit of BA Blocked 5 PC."

We have checked MMBE and MD04 tcode for Material/plant/storageLocation/Batch combination , stock is present in unrestricted stock.

Can you please help us to guide for solving this issue.

Thank you,

Neelam.

Hi,

After PGR the stock is added to unrestricted. Mov type in PGR is 657.

Using MB1B tcode and mov type 344 , the stock moves neither in blocked nor in unrestricted.

Thank you,

Hi,

Issue Solved by changing the status of respective batch. Stock moved to Blocked and PGR can be reverse successfully.

Thank you,

Neelam.

Hello Neelam,

During return delivery, stock must have been entered in blocked stock first, and then must have been transferred to unrestricted stock.

Since you mentioned, that stock taken back in return delivery is currently in unrestricted stock, therefore, in order to reverse PGR of return delivery, you need to transfer stock from unrestricted stock to blocked stock.

Please execute transaction MB1B and transfer stock from unrestricted to blocked stock using movement type 344, and then try to do VL09.

Also remember, that PGR reversal posting date should not be earlier than actual PGR posting date, else you will get same error again.

Hi Nikesh,

I have tired using MB1B tcode to transfer stock from unrestricted to blocked stock , but still i get same error.

i have created similar scenario where i have to reverse return delivery , now the batch have no unrestricted stock also.

Can you please guide what steps i need to follow to reverse PGR?

Thank you,

Hello Neelam,

Basically, stock should be transferred back to same stock where it was there immediately after doing PGR of return delivery.

Can you please check in MMBE, where stock is lying after trying MB1B t code.

Also, you can test and check in MMBE, where exactly material is placed immediately after return delivery. As per error mentioned by you, it looks that stock is placed in 'blocked' stock at time of return delivery PGR. You need to transfer stock exactly to same category where it was placed at the time of original return delivery.

For example: In my system, stock is placed in 'returns' stock after doing PGR for return delivery.  So, if stock is in some other category, then I will make transfer movements back to 'Returns' stock.

You can take help of MM consultant, and transfer the stock back to required category.

Hope this helps!
