Missing field "Pl Plant" in customer complaint notifications

Dear Experts,

I have an urgent query to resolve ! My Plant Maintenance domain has recently made  "planning plant field" mandatory/required using OIAL for their notifications. Now in my SD domain while creating customer complaint notifications (QM01)- A message is popped out " Planning plant field must be filled" whereas there is no such field as the planning plant. Please guide.

How can I resolve this issue since my PM domain does not want to change the current settings of they have made. Is there any way I can guide them to perform this task excluding type-notification Q1, Q2, Q3 using (IMG menu).

I need urgent support since another department of my company is involved and my customer is stuck with PQC and they are holding us responsible for this.

  • You are travelling in an incorrect direction. Solution has been posted to your issue in Q1 notification in your other thread. Repercussions of Planning Plant as Mandatory Field
  • Planner Group and hence Planning plant is not related with Q1 Notification so you can not modify the standard set-up of Quality notifications to overcome your incorrect setting in customizing.
  • This amounts to doing another wrong thing instead of correcting the first one.
