Dear Krishna

some commenton this "its importance to make sds": any rule set as existing in th system which is dedicated to genearte additional data (secondary data) which can be used in a WWI template to genarte a MSDS will speed up the maintenance process a lot. The MSDS maker combines a lot of rule sets and is able to generate data for MSDS chapters which are "weak"; that menas. there is no rule in place from legislation point of view; you have to "print" something (based on knowledeg of human being);  but the rules  to be designed are not regulatory driven but contain special expert knowledge

If you checkthe many reference i added: at the end MSDS maker (and the rul set approach) is enhanced step by step based on feedback of chemical companies; using this rule simplifies dramatically the maintenance and you can generate then (afte r may be onsl some minor adjustments) quite easily a MSDS/SDS

looks like MSDS rule ( expert rule ) is tie with with some other software ( msds maker - from sap I guess ) . Why do not we use rule editor only to make sds with different logic of authoring and do mass creation of msds's with that rule itself . how do we connect msds maker software to sap and what configuration we need to do in msds maker to set up .

Dear Krisshna

Shortly: MSDS Maker is a rule set to buy (refer to the documents shared)

If you use SAP EHS Expert and you have good understanding of EHS data model, data maintenance and rules you can try to "reprogramm" MSDS maker. Not many companies will follow this track

So: Why do not we use rule editor only to make sds with different logic of authoring and do mass creation of msds's with that rule itself . how do we connect msds maker => yes you can doo (by your own)

So: do mass creation of msds's with that rule itself . how do we connect msds maker software to sap and what configuration we need to do in msds => MSDS maker does not propulate "all" data therefore: you can not create MSDS after MSDS maker rule set was executed or if you do so: the result might not be "compliant"

So: what configuration we need to do in msds maker to set up . => please just get in touch with provider of MSDS maker; there will be (I assume) an explanation in place about set up etc.

Dear Krishna

MSDS Maker is "content:" Therefore you buy it. Therefore you can expect that some "installation guideline" is shipped with it. Regarding time efforts no idea: we don't use it

Check e.g.

MSDS maker usage | SCN#

Data Model for MSDS Authoring with SERC | SCN

Many of the threads have been started by you. MSDS Maker is discussed not often here

PS: Any progress on your others threads (e.g. topic of export MSDS etc.)? Does it work now?
