Hello Experts,
Need your help in exploring following issue:
Environment -
Lumira Desktop v1.28
BusinessObjects v4.1 SP7, with Lumira Server for BI Platform installed
HANA as reporting database
I have published quite a few Lumira Storyboards into BI Platform. Upon accessing them from BI Launchpad, I am asked to enter database credentials. Upon entering the credentials, I can view them without any issues.
Issue is - I am looking for a way by which I (users) can bypass this login prompt and get to the Storyboard directly. Is this possible? If yes, then how?
Thanks,
Shirish Dubey

Thanks Tammy and Varun,
OK, so SSO is possible when we configure SAML between BOBJ and HANA. This is explained very nicely by Vishal Dhir in his post here - Link
Our scenario is where HANA config is done by a separate team. Also HANA is being used by other applications (ECC, etc.) so making changes at HANA's side is a bit challenging.
I'll test this and proceed accordingly.
One question though - Isn't it more logical to get it (SSO for Lumira) done at BOBJ only? I mean majority of implementations will have HANA tasked for multiple applications and modifying (requires restart) it will be a challenge.

Hi Sirish,
SAP sources do support sign on without prompt for Lumira documents. Please refer to the HANA section in .
I would also refer to , SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.1: User Authentication and Single Sign-On - YouTube.
Thank you,
