Hello Harinath,

It seems there is  an issue with RFC destination or the system alias which you have assigned while registering the service via /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE.

Please go through the below link, which is similar to your issue.

Both Local Gateway and Local App should be checked

Lokeswar.

Hi Harinath,

I have created Trusted RFC connection and same assigned to System Alias. Here issue is i am not service is not available in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE. when i am clicking timesheet app i am getting bellow error

Not clear with the above statement:

1. Is the service registered in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE ?

2. Check whether system alias assigned to the service or not ?

3. If assigned, try to ping the RFc destination via SM59 once.

4.check you system landscape, is Gateway components exist on back system or Gateway is stand alone system ?

5. Check your system alias properties - local Gateway and local app check boxes, whether properly assigned or not ?

Thanks and regards,

Lokeswar.

Hello Harinath,

Please check all the above points I have mentioned.

After all the points evaluated then try to delete the cache by tcode - /IWFND/Chache_cleanup.

Even if still the issue exists and then delete the service & re-register the service.

Refer the below link once:

Dear Lokeswar,

Thanks for your support,

1. Is the service registered in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE ?

I could not able to find the service in Service catalog (/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE). could you please guide me how to register.

2. Check whether system alias assigned to the service or not ?

Service was not available in service catalog.

3. If assigned, try to ping the RFc destination via SM59 once.

I have checked RFC is working for all test (connection, authorization,Remote login)

4.check you system landscape, is Gateway components exist on back system or Gateway is stand alone system ?

5. Check your system alias properties - local Gateway and local app check boxes, whether properly assigned or not ?

yes, both Local gateway & Local app check boxes selected for system alias

Thanks & Regards,

Hari

Hello Hari,

To register the service:

Goto /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE --> click on add service --> in the next screen enter the RFC destination --> a list of services will be displayed --> select the respective service and provide the package --> then click on add service.

Detailed steps: Activate and Maintain Services - SAP Gateway Foundation (SAP_GWFND) - SAP Library

Still, If you are not able to find your service name then this might be basis issue and get in touch with basis team , to implement missing notes or cross validate the configurations.

Note: Make sure that you are entering right RFC destination while registering the service.

Regards,

Lokeswar.
