MD04 requirement getting disappeared

Hi,

I am facing a strange behavior in MD04, where the requirement list is getting disappeared for a sales order.

The scenario is -

There are 2 sales orders created for a same material. When the schedule line date for the line item of the 1st sales order is getting changed there is no loss of requirement list from MD04 whereas for the 2nd Sales order, when the schedule line date for its line item is changed then the requirement list is getting disappeared from MD04.

As per the user this is happening for one Sales order in production and none others.

IN such a case we are executing the program SDRQCR21 to recover the sales requirements.

This program is executed for temporary use and not a permanent solution.

So can you please help why the requirement list gets disappeared for just one sales order.

Also I have observed that when this issue happens the SD document category changes from C (Order) to K (Credit Memo Request).

Hello Everyone,

I have noticed one difference between the sales orders.

There is a check box as shown in the below screen shot.

In the sales order which for which the requirement list getting disappeared from MD04 the above check box (that is the 5th Column - Schedule line exist) , is unchecked. Whereas for the other sales order having no issues with MD04, this checkbox is Checked.

Also note that this field is not editable

Can this be a reason for this issue.

Thanks everyone for your inputs, actually as you the issue is that in one sales order the changing of schedule line date, removes the requirement list from MD04 whereas for another sales order this is not happening. In both cases the material is same, also if above configurations would have been the reason then it should affect both sales order but its not happening. Only one sales order gives issue.

Do you think that there can be some exits or enhancements which could have been implemented based whose criteria is sales order attributes.

Can you suggest any such custom implementations from transfer of requirement from sales order to MD04.

Hello,

Does  the schedule line that was generated because of replenishment lead time?

Does the fix quantity and date was used?

Did you check all the changes in the sales document?

Is there any delivery block or credit check used?

Did you check the probability setting?

VOV8 -> Choosing sales order type -> General control section -> Probability

Did you check OVZ2  setting?

Check the user exits in the includes MV45AFZZ, MV45AFZB.

Hello

I have checked the above configurations, could not find anything related to the above points.

The main thing is that both the sales order have the same scheduling line category as well as same item category

There is no delivery block or credit check.
Order type is also same for both the orders.

Is it something happening due to the custom code that for one sales order it deletes the requirement list in MD04 when a schedule line date is changed whereas for the other this issue doesn't happen.
