Hi,

Could you please check if you have set up row level security or have some limit on the no of rows retrieved from Universe level.

Also please check the no of rows at WEBI level on query properties.

Thanks Niraj!! yes pointed me to right direction I don't know how there was a limit on the number of rows from Universe.

Thanks

check in universe parameters->control tab.uncheck the checkbox of 5000 rows.

if this is already unchecked then check in webi query properties and check there any limit is set

Hi Neeshi,

On Niraj's note about Max row retrieval or Max retrieval time restriction options in the Universe parameters or Query properties, there is an easy to find if those options are activated. In the report, look at the right bottom corner, do you see an ! mark in a yellow triangle, which says Partial results, if yes, then one or both of those options has been set in the Universe parameters and/or Query properties, remove that restriction. It may also be Row level security setup in the Universe.

Try to create a simple report in the Webi and then, copy the SQL generated and run directly against the Database in SQL Query Analyzer or Aquadata or Toad or any other client tool and see what happens.

Thanks,
