Remove 1-jan-1900 from chart's X-axis

I am using crystal report chart. On x-axis I have a date field where the date starts from "1-Jan--1900" followed by my actual date like 9-may-2016. I want to remove "1-Jan-1900" date, how do I remove this.

Also when I set the interval it shows a date "31-dec-1899" (please see screenshot).

Please suggest how can I ensure that the data point start from the date selected by a user or available in a database table.
