Financial Consolidation 10.1 Starting Issue

Hi,

When I try to start a datasource SAP Financial Consolidation 10.1 SP02 Patch01 after installation I get the following error message :

Format of the initialization string does not conform to the OLE DB epecification.

DB : SQL Server 2008 R2 SP 1 US

SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 US  Native Client was installed on application server.

Have you any idea about the source of the problem?

Hello,

If the password contain special characters (namely "="), can you test with a simple password?

(A similar issue, has been reported with Oracle)

I changed the pwd to SAPbfc10 et now it works.

Could you please try to migrate the data source ( from the administration console) before trying to start it?

If you did this step, did you encounter any error message?

Data source : MSSQLDB-B\MSSQLDBB

Initial Catalog : MAGNI101_TESTQ

Login : bfcqual

Pwd : xxxxx
