Hello Experts,
We have a process were a Transfer order is created in background when a GR is done,& a label is printed with LM01.
Know there is an issue where system is giving an message as transfer order not created when i am trying to print the Label.
when i tried to proceed manually for creating a TO wrf to the TR created in GR system is giving an error message as Bin does not have sufficient Space.(Message no. L3084)
Then i checked the storage bin i found the below details
I want to understand how did system calculate the Utilization for the bin as my maximum wt is maintained as 0 in bin master.
Also find screen shot of Material master Wm 1 View
Also system is defining this storage bin by default when i am trying to create TO against the TR & i am unable to edit the storage type & bin in the TO.
Can you please suggest how do i change the utilization if possible?
Reply will be appreciated.
Regards,
Gopal Attal
if you changed capacitiy check methods and and material master usage then you should run report RLS10200 to recalculate the occupied capacity in your bin

Hello Jurgen,
Thanks for the Response
But in this case we have not changed the capacity check method or the usage in Material Master.
I found that in LAGP the Maximum storage unit for this storage type is 9801 & Number ofstorage unit for now as 9801 also the Quants are 9801.
So does this suggest that the max capacity which is allowed is fully utilised & hence system is giving me this message during TO creation.
Hi
Looking at your 1st screen shot, I can see that there are 9801.000 storage units in that bin. That leads me to believe that this stype is set up as bulk storage. Check your bulk settings (OMM4) and compare it with the SU's already in the bin, as this I think is where the problem is.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Hi
The capacity is derived by the system by simply multiplying the number of allowed stacks by the stack height, so in your case:
99 x 99 = 9801 hence there is no available capacity in the bin.
You could just amend either the number of stacks and/or the height, but this would only be a temporary fix as my fear here (along with Jurgen), is that there is no stock showing in the bin from your first screen shot.
Can you please confirm that your bin does not contain any stock ? If so, we need to try and understand why the capacity usage has not been reduced when the stock was removed.
Cheers
Hi
As I see it, you have 2 immediate choices;
1) Increase the number of stacks and/or stack height via OMM4.
2) Move some of the existing stock out of the bin to free up capacity.
You say that the system always uses this bin for Goods Receipt by default. Is this a temporary location after which the stock is again moved into the warehouse, or is this the 'final' destination for the materials until they are dispatched ??
Either way, you need to ensure that the system space is representative of the physical space. If you can physically fit more SU's into the bulk area, then you should look to adjust the OMM4 settings to a more realistic figure.
If however, the physical space is fully utilised, you need to look at your onward processes as you are obviously receiving more stock than your onward processes (e.g stock put away or goods issue) can process.
Cheers
