Dear All,
You know that the adapter JDBC for PI 7.0 (XI 3.0) is not stable. Anybody knows how to solve the problem. So far, There is a scenario that support JDBC mode. I need to confirm the effect for missing data. Any solution can solve it?
Thank you for your support in advance.
Many thanks & Best regards,
Hubery
Hi Hubery,
Please share your exception and the DB vendor, i haveused the JDBC adapter in PI 7.0 several ways with different ORACLEs versions in different projects and it is totally stable. Your problem could be in a bad DB driver or in a bad usage.

In fact, Customer uses the adapter JDBC for the first time. Before it is said that the adapter JDBC is not stable for PI 7.0. So I put a discussion to confirm whether the the adapter JDBC for PI7.0(XI3.0) is stable or not.
From your comments, it seems this problem is not existing.
If the the adapter JDBC is OK. I will use it .
Thank you for your meaningful comments.
Many thanks & Best regards,
Hubery
Hello Hubery,
The only thing to watch out would be the use right driver for your database as Inaki has mentioned. In my experience most of the issues that have occured were always due to incorrect Drivers being used. Do check with your DB Admin team for the appropriate driver corresponding to your PI JDK Version and install accordingly.
All the best!

Dear Bhavesh,
Before somebody talked that this is a bug for adapter JDBC in PI 7.0. In your opinions. This is because of JDBC driver for data missing.
I will the check the PI JDK version and ensure the JDBC driver version corresponding to the PI JDK version.
Thank you for valuable advice.
Many thanks & best regards
Hubery
Hello Hubery,
What is the exact issue? We had used JDBC Adapter on XI 3.0 extensively and did not find any major stability issues. Can you share the scenario and issues?

Bhavesh
