Process Chain status alerts mail in BW 7.4

Hi,

Now we are in BW 7.4, need's to automate the process chain alerts for both failure and success status (Not single process chain).

I have find some of the documents in older versions, can anyone suggest me the exact way to handle status alerts.

Follow these steps,

1. go to ALRTCATDEF

2. select classification "Process Chains"

3. click on display/change

4. double-click on "error in a process of a process chain"

5. click on "fixed recipients"

6. write in your username (you have to maintain your e-mail address in SU01 for that to work)

7. save

8. go to your process chain (rspc)

9. go into edit mode

10. from the menu, select Process chain -> attributes -> alerting

11. check "send alerts if errors occur"

Thanks for your response.

It seems this can handle only failure process alerts.

How can we do success process chain alerts for all the chains.

Hi Chakri,

To get the Mail Notification from Process Chains loads On Success /On Failure/On Always.

Follow the following steps.

After Creation process chain-->Right Click on Process ---->choose create message

and select the Event like On Success/Failure/Always.

Hi Surendra,

Thanks for response.

It is for individual process chain, I am looking for group of process chain alerts for both success and failure.

I mean, for ex 100 chains are in the system, need to maintain alerts for 70 chains.

Like Bhavin proposed one solution.

Hi Chakri,

Go to Planning view Mode in process Chain.

Right click on Process chain Select Option Create Message -->Select Successful -Input the details & also add the email Recipients -->Save & activate.

Likewise repeat the same by selecting Error Option.
