Hi Gurus,
I have come across an issue with BI web services Connection when used to create a WEBI report.
WEBI report getting data from BI web services connection is not getting refreshed while trying to do so from Launch Pad application.
It is strange that the same report is refreshing from Rich client Application though.
Is there any way to fix this issue in Launch Pad?

Make sure if the user has rights to refresh the webi document based on web service. Make sure user/group has rights set on QaaWS folder with below rights.
Application -> QaaWS-> refresh Query, use list of values, Refresh list of values etc

Hi,
This is typically an error caused by a lack of security on universe or connection used by this document.
Check the user security of each layer in CMC to verifiy if security is enough.
A quick test would be to test whith an administrator account and check if you still have this error. If not, it's a security lack for sure.
