I have dual axis line chart with few

I want to create a straight line for +1 and -1. This is like a threshold line on map.

Issue is just on this static line I dont want to show markers(dots) whereas other lines I want the markers.

I am not finding any option just to remove market from specific line?

Hello Vishal,

Here are the steps,

Create two measures M1 and M2 with values 1 and -1.

Create a Line chart with these two measures and the dimension used in Dual axis line chart.

Format the properties of Line chart such that No legend, Title and axis scale gets displayed and make the size of the Line chart same as Dual axis graph.

Now set the property of Line chart as shown in attached screen shot.

Now put this Line chart over the Dual axis line chart so that your upper and lower threshold gets displayed.

You can create line instead of dots as shown in second screen shot.

I got the O/P somewhat as expected as I haven't set the size and scaling so looks a bit messy. You can just fine tune the formatting to get exact results.

Let me know if this helps.

This works great but issue is the mouse hover details dont work on the original dual axis chart as the threshold chart is placed on top of it.

When user hovers on original dual axis chart I want the details to be shown.

In other words how can we put the threshold chart back and dual axis chart on top?

Can you just try and reverse the position like placing Dual axis chart on top of Threshold chart?

This is getting very messy and placing one on another is tricky as my threshold lines are conditional and they change.

This work around is good but only for static graphs but mine has many variation and the overlap doesn't align proper.

Any other way to  remove the marker?

I changed the 'Line Style' to 'Solid' and 'Line Width' to '7' this makes the line thick enough to hide the dots.

Works for my user and easy.

thanks.
