ATP via VBBE vs VBBS

Hi,

   I am trying to find what is the benefit of doing ATP against VBBE against VBBS. I know of OVZ2 tcode and the total sales and total delivery requirements fields and the options But I am trying to see which of VBBE or VBBS is more beneficial and what are the use cases for either. Can someone help me please ?

Hi,

This is related to MRP planning. If MRP department wanta the indexes to be updated for every individual sales document you should go for VBBE. If MRP department wants to check for sales requirements once in every day, VBBS approach might be the better one

yeah but the config in OVZ2 decides if ATP occurs against VBBE or VBBS. I am trying to find the benefit of one over the other. anyone ?
