Entries need to be deleted in 3KEH

Hi All,

User requested us to delete  below entries in 3KEH

Please advise me how to delete this entries.

Whether if I delete this entries any impact will be there in business?

Controlling Area               Account Number from  Account number to         Default Profit Center

Also want to know what is the use of this 3KEH if we delete this will create any issue?

user confirming that for these accounts they docent require this profit center-    P9999

What does he require then?

remember that it is not only a default PC, but a Proposal PC too

In addition to what Gabriel said, the PC you specify in 3KEH, is not just a default PC, but a "Proposal" PC also

Balance Sheet accounts are transferred to PCA in real time, only if you assign the GL accounts in 3KEH.. So consider all these impacts before you remove

Remove the entry from 3KEH, make a Posting into the GL accounts you removed and see the PCA document. Get a sign off from business

Dear Ram,

This is a IMG configuration view, you should maintain that in your development system and transport to your production system.

3KEH you define the accounts that you want to transfer to Profit Center Accounting. In this case, if no profit center is specified in a posting for those accounts that you removed, the system uses the default profit center for the account or account interval defined in 3KEH.

If you delete these entries, please make sure that all postings in PCA will have your correct profit center, if not, the Dummy Profit Center will be used generating wrong information.
