Hey folks, we're very new to Lumira implementation and having some startup challenges. Our implementation partner is telling us certain things aren't supported or possible and yet I find it very hard to believe.
The use case is a Lumira story pulling data from a SQL 2008 database and published to the SAP BI Platform. We want consumers of the published story to be able to refresh the data without being prompted for login, but that doesn't seem to be possible. Can someone confirm this? Is it not possible to pass the current user identity over to the database? Or even use a service account on the back end without prompting the users on the front end?
Thanks!

Based on that document...
Universe based on Query Panel Extension
So, it's possible if using a universe, correct? The "pre-defined" method would be using some form of service account, and "SSO" would pass the current report user? Can someone explain "mapping" component of that last item?
Hi Darin,
If you connect to SQL 2008 directly and publish this to BI Platform then you will not be able to use the option of SSO.
However, if you connect to universe to create your document. You will be able to use the following options
Hope this helps,

Ashutosh
