Login Issue in WEBI

Iam facing this issue while i choose BEx or excel as data source.

This should help:

Note 1933842:Error: "Your security profile does not include permission to edit this document. (Error: ERR_WIS_30252) (WIS 30252)" when clicked on 'Run Query' In BI Launchpad or Webi Rich Client.

Try these steps:

- Login to the Central Management Console (CMC)

- Go to the Applications.

- Select Web Intelligence

- Select User Security

- Select the user / group with which we are getting error.

- Go to Assign Security

- Go to Advanced tab -> Add/Remove Rights

- Under Application -> Web Intelligence -> Specific Rights for Web Intelligence

- Grant the right Reporting - Enable Formatting"

Can you also make sure you have appropriate rights on the Universe and Connection as well?

Once you verified this and it didn't work, can you also make sure you have view and edit rights at the folder level.

No. Try the below steps:

Ask your administrator to check this security setting. if you are the Admin, Login as Administrator.

Hey Now iam getting this issue. Is it again i have do the same thing for this issue. As becuase it is saying it do not include permission to edit this document.

Ask the Admin to give you below permissions:

Web Intelligence -> Web Intelligence Rich Client: Create a document

General -> "Edit the Object" right as well under General section

P.S: Navigation is same as mentioned in the previous steps.

Hi,

You do not have privileges to create Webi document. Please reach out to your BO Admin who can allow access to this.
