Live Office Object not getting Refreshed

Hi all,

Trying to refresh the Live Office object gives me this error.

Failed to upgrade this document (LO 01400)

Invalid Pointer.

I get this Error for particular one dashboard. Rest of the dashboards work fine.

Dashboard 4.0 sp9

LiveOffice 4..0 sp9

Back End Report -Crystal Report

Cause

• In the Live Office application a timeout is reached during the upgrade
• The upgrade of the Live Office document must be done outside of the dashboard designer

Resolution

1. Upgrade the dashboard file from version 3.1 to version 4.1
2. Export the embedded spreadsheet data sheet to excel file choosing the Data->Export men
3. Close Dashboard desinger
4. Follow the instrunctions of SAP KBA 2265017 and extend the Live Office client timeout up to 60-120 minutes
5. Open exported excel sheet in Microsoft Excel
6. Upgrade the LO content of the Excel file by pressing "Refresh All" button on the live office ribbon
7. After the successfull upgrade of the Live office document, save the excel file
8. Open Dashboard desinger
9. Click on Data->Connections menu to open the Data manager window
10. Record all Live Office connections and mappings in Data Manager
11. Remove all Live Office connections from the Dashboard file
12. Close the Data Manager window
13. Save the file
14. Click on Data->Import and select the upgraded live office excel workbook for imporing to the embedded spreadsheet
15. Click on Data->Connections menu to open the Data manager window
16. Import upgraded Live Office connections and re-do the mappings
17. Compile the dashboard
