Hi Ashish,

Please provide some more details on your requirement. What type of change you are trying to do in Site master?

Generally Site number is a primary key and system will not allow to change the site number.

Amit

Hi Ashish,

To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to do mass maintenance of site master data (even organization data for site).

If the number of sites are very high, you can try creating a LSMW by recording the WB02 transaction.

Once the LSMW is done, you can input using an excel file and run for updating the site master data.

I hope this will help.

Amit

Hello Ashish:

As you know, a Site Master is comprised of several technical objects that we treat as one business object:  Site, Site Customer, Site Vendor (sometimes), and one Business Address Services record shared by all of these objects.  Oh ... and a lot of customizing 🙂

Much of the Site Master may be mass updated via processing of IDocs created with LSMW.  In particular, the Site Customer may be maintained using DEBMAS, and you will find there several segments that are specific for Sites.  Likewise, address changes can be maintained processing an ADRMAS followed by DEBMAS.

Processing a DEBMAS can also be used to extend the Site Customer to an additional Distribution chain, for example.

If you can mention a specific example of what data you must mass update then a more specific reply can be made.
