Hi,

I created characteristics and assigned to class and created permits in equipment.while creating order not assigned automatically

Hi Murali,

For automatic assignment, Permit should have classification in IPMD. Assignment to equipment not required.

What classification condition you have maintained.

No need to maintain classification in equipment master, once your planned cost more than 1000,00 INR in maintenance order, permits gets assigned automatically.

OK, but where I need to maintain condition and after the planned cost more than 1000.00 INR also system not assigning the permit.

No need to maintain condition in order, once planned cost more than 1000.00 INR, permit should assign automatically.

One last check, Permit Class in configuration and Class created by you should be with same name.

Permit Class is red. This is the reason of no automatic assignment.

• If a permit class could not be determined, the traffic light is RED.

A permit class cannot be determined in the following three cases:

• You have not defined a permit group in Customizing.
• You have defined a permit group in Customizing, but still no permit class is assigned to it.
• The permit class assigned in Customizing is not available (any longer).

Check below config

Plant Maintenance and Customer Service->Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service->Basic Settings->Permits->Define Permit Groups

Permit class should match with class created by you.

Now the status changed to green by assigning class type 049 and showing clasification view in IPMD

Its working now by changing in permits Equipment Master OR to 2 option.
