Dear Vishal Kambare,
A sales order cannot be created if sales unit, distribution channel and currency have not been maintained. The determination of the Sales Unit and Organizations in a Sales Order are dependent on you settings in the fine tuning activity Involved Parties for Sales Orders in your Business Configuration and if you have maintained a Work Distribution rule for Sales Unit for Sales in your Org Management.
You can find the following Case Document in the Help Center which provides more details: 1435095 - How to determine 'Sales Unit' in a Sales Order I hope this will answers your questions.
With kind regards,

Dear Vishal ,
To determine the Parties in a Sales Order you need to consider the determination rules in the fine tuning activity Involved Parties for Sales Orders for the following Parties:
Seller
Sales Unit
Employee Responsible
You can check the rules for each party role by selecting the party role and then clicking on the Maintain Determination button.
Select the Seller party role and click on the on the Maintain Determination button.
Here you see that there are 2 methods for the determination of the Seller.
Step 5 -> Company of Logged on User
If this is active, the system will check the logged on user (in your case the user logged on via the excel add-in) and checks if this user is assigned to a company in the org management. If this is not the case or the step is not active the system will check the next step.
Step 10 -> Company of Sales Unit
The system will check the determination of the party role Sales Unit
You can check this as follows:
Select the Sales Unit party role and click on the on the Maintain Determination button.
Here you see that there are 3 methods for the determination of the Sales Unit.
Step 10 -> Responsibility "Sales Unit for Sales"
The system will check the Organizational Work Distribution Rules for the work category Sales Unit.
If you rule for the determination of the Sales Unit depends on the seller (Company).
The Seller and Sales Unit cannot be determined.
The system will go to the next step.
Step 20 -> Functional Organizational Unit of Employee Responsible
If an Employee Responsible could be determined according to the rules set up for the party role Employee Responsible, the system will check to which Organizational Unit this employee is assigned to and if this Organizational Unit is a Sales Organization and Sales Unit (this is done in Organizational
Management under the Functions tab with the options Sales Organization and Sales). If the Employee Responsible could not be determined or the Employee Responsible is not assigned to an Org Unit which is active for Sales Organization and Sales Unit then the system cannot determine the Sales Unit and will move on to the next step.
Step 30 -> Organizational Unit from Org Model if only One Suitable Functional Unit Exits
The system will check if there is only one valid Organizational Unit which has the Functions Sales/Sales Organization active. If there is only one, the system can determine it. If there are more than one, the system cannot determine it.
If the System cannot determine this, the error message "party with role sales unit missing" occurs.
Please note that you can reproduce this also exactly the same way in the system as this will behave the same way as the excel upload behaves.
I hope this will help to find the reason why you are still not able to create the Sales Orders.

Dear Vishal,
I also wrote a document with screenshots which explains the party role determination in detail. The title of the document is Party Role Determination in a Sales Document (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-73055).
