Dear Experts,
We maintain the CO versions in Tcode OKEQ; Version OP1 for planning, Version 0 for actuals.
For Fiscal year 2017, the value date for exchange rate translation was wrongfully copied as 01/01/2016 instead of 01/01/2017.
This is the case for all the versions that we maintain (15 versions in total).
There was planning data posted in the system after the configuration was made.
This means all the Planning data posted with transaction currency not equal to CO area currency (USD) have been translated with incorrect exchange rates.
Can someone tell me -
1) How to identify all of the planning data that was posted for the Fiscal year 2017? (SAP Tables). I have identified table "COEJ" using value type '1' but will this encompass all planning data that was posted?
2) What is the best way to correct these incorrect entries? [Are there any standard SAP programs that can be used to update the currency translation on posted data?]
Since there is planning data already posted, We should not change the value date on the version just yet as the pop up message from SAP states (Message no GP633)
If we need to delete all the existing entries and repost the planning data, what is the best way to go about with it?
3) If we do not change the value date in the 2017 versions, what impact will this have on data and their reporting results.
Regards,
Rahul
