Remaining Plan Order value at Individual Order level in SAP Report

hi All,

I was checking 'Remaining Plan Order value' in few Std. reports (S_alr_87013558; 12KST1C etc.) & see that the 'RemOrdPla' is displayed ONLY at WBSE Level. I've checked Table: RPSCO, but it won't display values for Value Type - 25 for Example attached. It displays values when executed ONLY with Value Type - 1. Total Order Plan value - 10,040, Actual posted - 20 hence, RemOrdPla value = 10,020.

Q: ) Is it possible to have RemOrdPla value displayed at Each individual Order level, as we are currently facing an issue & need to look-up & analyze the values against each Order?.Any Table Or OSS Note that can be implemented for this? (Referred SAP note 178837, 922177).

P.S. - Most of the Orders that we have in report are PM Order assigned to WBS Element.

-Thanks

hi Ken / Sunil,

thanks for your response. I've tried with Select / de-select checkbox for 'Appended plan update' for 30- Order category (Screenshot attached) & the value still appears ONLY at WBS Element level in report. I've checked this by posting with a New- WBSE & Maint Order against the WBS.

Can you Pl check in Sandbox if possible & let me know if 'RemOrdPla' value appears at Order value in your system?.

SAP Help states as below:

"Appended" indicator set

The plan value for the order/network is added to the plan value of the WBS element. The sum is displayed in the information system as the project plan.

"Appended" indicator not set

The plan value for the order/network is not added to the plan value of the WBS element.

But, doesn't specify that it will display at Object level, IF Indicator is 'NOT Selected'. Will get back in case I find any solution.

-thanks

Hi,

Have you read the note 922177 that you have mentioned?  It has all the answers.

You can take that report as a basis to develop something that looks better.  Also seems SAP is bit confused between ROP and CTC...

Thank you,

Paulo

Dear Paulo,

Apologize for the delayed response. I did check OSS note 922177, and yes you are right. It did give us a clue for the issue we have. I believe, ROP Calculation is straight forward formula: Plan -(Actual+commitment).  But, an issue arises if there's a Credit posting made against PM / Network order, where your RemOrdPlan value is Positive, whereas in reality 'No' Plan value exist. But, I hope ZREMORDPLAN report will help our analysis further. Reward points assigned, for the good reminder given by you. CTC (if Cost to complete), I believe depends on Actual costs + Rem Qty & Avg. prod rate * Cost/Unit or such calculation which we can do in Excel.

Still in process of analyzing the issue, due to Authorization restrictions by client to access certain reports.

P.S.: I also found OSS: 0000853530 - Residual order plan should not be taken into account VERY USEFUL.

Closing the issue, as the Q: is answered basically.

-thanks

i agree with Ken, you should check config in OPSV and select Append and Apportioned for Order type-30 in your case for Maintenance Orders.

thanks

Check your configuration settings in OPSV to see if the Order is Appended or Apportioned.  Read the help for the configuration step, it takes some time to figure it out.
