Senders Name - System ID

Dear Experts

SAP R/3 4.7

We are having a setup to send workflow work-item to external e-mail address as well and SAPconnect is place and working fine.

Question:

When SAP sending these workflow work-items to external e-mail the sender name is System ID (i.e., S00 for instance) is there a way to change this sender name to some meaning full customer defined text?

Thanks in advance for the expert advicesÂ…

Best Regards,

A. Riaz

Using transaction SU51 you can maintain the First name, last name etc of the user.

I am not sure, but I think SCOT picks up the name of the sender from here.

    Hi,

You will have to configure Workflow System Administrator.

Go to transaction SWU3, and then to

    "Maintian Workflow System Administrator".

All outgoing mails will then take the name of this administrator.

    Hope this helps..
