Credit Management in S/4HANA 1511

Hi Experts,

Need your help on below query.

We are implementing S/4HANA on premise 1511 for a client and they don't have PI integration. I see that FSCM credit management would work with PI system in S/4HANA. I have looked at couple of blogs where in it says FSCM credit management can be implemented without PI but with WS-RM in ECC system.

Is there a way to implement this without PI system or any alternate approach to get this done in S/4HANA?

Appreciate any inputs.

Hi Shanti,

I have been able to setup FSCM credit management using WS-RM in SAP S/4 Hana. However, it only worked after I had setup a logical BgRFC port in the system.

More importantly, everytime we try to create a sales order, after setting up credit management, system tries to logon to this bfRFC connection and fails. This effectively locks out the user for failed logons.

I am yet to find a solution to this problem.

Hi Abhijit,

So can we assume that without Web service or PI setup, credit management in S4H would not work?

Earlier, I have seen couple of blogs where WS-RM was implemented to handle FSCM credit management but that was in ECC6. I am looking for a solution how to implement this in S4H. I will talk to SAP folks once and update you if there any good approach for this.

Please post in here if you get any solution.

Thanks,

Shanthi

did you get a good answer back? I too would like to understand what the "No XML messages/ web services are used" is all about as all seem to indicate otherwise.

My searching found very much same as you mostly pre S/4HANA 1511.

Hi,

Can you please explain how you were able to successfully set everything up? We're also attempting to set up Credit Management without PI and only WS-RM but have not had any luck so far.

I've followed the configuration guide in Note 2315269 but we're still not seeing any changes in our credit exposure in our business partner.

Here's a list of what we've activated/configured so far, maybe you can tell me if we've missed something.

Consumer Proxies:

http://sap.com/xi/PI/FIN/Operational/Global/CreditCommitmentNotification_Out

http://sap.com/xi/PI/FIN/Operational/Global/CreditPaymentBehaviourSummaryNotification_Out

http://sap.com/xi/PI/FIN/Operational/Global/CreditWorthinessQuery_Out

Business Functions:

FIN_FSCM_CCD

FIN_FSCM_CCD_2

FIN_FSCM_CCD_3

FIN_FSCM_CCD_INTEGRATION

Everything in report SRT_ADMIN_CHECK is also green.

I've attempted activating BADI UKM_SD_FSCM_INTEGR1 (Connection of SD Documents to SAP Credit Management) but unfortunately this also did not help us, so I've since deactivated it.

I tried to run transaction UKM_TRANSFER_ITEMS (Asynchronous Liability Update) but when running it (not in test mode) I get the error "Could not find business system", which is message LCR002.

At this point I'm drawing a blank and could really use some assistance.

Hi,
You need to have SLD inplace. (System Landscape Directory - Solution Manager)
Than the business System can be found. If you have no Solman access you can also fake an entry in table: LCRT_CLNTCACHE. 😉  Check TX: SLDCHECK

But when you are on S4Hana you don't need the WS-RM Connection.
It will work (tested it), but it's not necessary.

Check Note: 2196823.

Hi Shanthi,

I hope you have already implemented Credit Management / FSCM. Is there any pointers or help can I get from you as I am in the same boat now?

Sridhar.

Hi

I am confused with your question. Do you mean that FSCM Credit Management is not in your S/4 Enterprise box. What exactly you aim to achieve with PI or other middleware integration for Credit Management.

Hi Sanil,

Thanks for the reply. We have FSCM credit management in S/4 Enterprise box. My question is that is PI integration mandatory for S4/HANA system to implement FSCM credit management? How do we configure credit management in S/4 HANA without any other system in landscape?

I am referring to the screenshot attached. There are two things mentioned.

1. One - system landscape

2. Mixed system landscape

I am looking for necessary steps to configure Credit management with one-system landscape.

Please suggest on this.

Per me, this should not be required for one system landscape

Hi Shanthi,

As per my understanding , FSCM should be natively integrated in S4H. Are you not able to see nodes for configuration for FSCM.

With regards,

Mrinal

Can you give me the detailed steps if this is not required for one system landscape?

Hi Shanti

There should not be any issue for a single instance system. Credit Management will sit natively integrated with other applications with in the same box. However, if you are looking for a mixed system landscape with essentially centralized credit management in one box, than you essentially need to use UKM_TRANSFER_ITEMS to build an interface. There is a AR Orchestration integration with S/4 HANA and SAP ERP Enviornments to central finance scenario. You should reach out to your SAP Account manager since the same is still a pilot release and not available in general. Your account manager should help you out. However, I believe the same uses PI/PO as a middleware and not SLT, so you need to check out licensing issues on that. The required configuration steps are:

1. Business Partner replication

2. Credit Area and Exposure configuration

3. If you need external interfaces, than configuration updates from external sources

4. Transfer of old credit management to FSCM Credit Management if you are already using classic credit management.

5. Setting interfaces to other systems. Most of the credit management work on XML output to target systems from the central system using Proxy based interface.

You can check out the configuration guide on SAP help to get an idea on how the distributed Credit management in FSCM works.
