Deploy SAP crystal report for visual studio on Central SAP server

Hello Everyone,

We have an already running application created on Visual Studio .NET where in we had installed the SAP crystal reports for microsoft visual studio and created some crystal reports that extract information from local database.

Now, we want to deploy these crystal reports on a central SAP server, and be able to modify it so that we can call these crystal reports from external systems, like a web service call or something.

Is that possible? and how?

Since I am very new to crystal reports, I seek your help on this one.

Unfortunately we don't host a CR for VS WEB service. but I'll pass your link onto the various teams, possibly we could...

There are others out there that do, I don't have any links so try searching. And make sure they are licensed by SAP to host your site. If they are not they will be talking to our legal departments.

Requirements are everyone of your users must purchase a copy of Crystal Reports

I discussed this option with our product teams and they are going to look into it

SAP Crystal Reports for Visual Studio runtime Hosting sites..... Where third party vendors can update their applications to.

Currently there are some out there and they should have an OEM Partner License. See this Licensing DOC for more info:

If they do not have one their sites may be taken down until one is arranged, so ask them if they are licensed to host Crystal Reports for Visual Studio WEB sites. If they are not licensed find one that is to avoid the legal hassle and down time.
