Upload data from BW 7.4 to BPC 10.1

Hi.

I have a infocube with the real data.

I will try to upload the data to BPC, but the result is 0 record.

BPC reads the records but the records are not appended in the BPC model.

I have tried with delta and full upload.

The log for the package is the following.

Hi Javier,

Once you select the infocube, click on "Set Selections"  and try to select only the objects and ratios that you need to load data on the corresponding tab.

Hi Javier,

A lot of things can be wrong But you have to provide full info including transformation and conversion files, selection screens etc... Start with full load!

I have change the transformation file with TAB option and I have done a filter form the infocubo, is it mandatory?

I can see that the record count is 0 when the transformation file was validated..  Does this mean that the BW info provider does not have any data? If BW has data, then it has to show the record count while validation.

Yes the BW has a lot of data:

And for fiscal year 2014 too.

I think that it is the error, the package read de data but don't upload the data to BPC.

Hi,

Try removing the ',' in DELIMITER = ,   in your transformation file. Then Validate the transfomation file taking the BW provider as the source and see if you get any record count.

The rest is correct - validation has to show some record count even it will be rejected...

I have put DELIMITER = TAB in the second twice and i have the same issue.

Hi Javier,

We have used ' DELIMITER = ' in our transformation files and are able to load data successfully from BW cube to BPC.

It looks like you are running a delta load. If you have run a delta load already today there are no new records to load. If you want to run a delta load multiple times a day, there is a setting that you will need to change in BW.
