Error during PREP_EXTENSION/EHP_INCLUSION for EHP8 upgrade

Has anyone come across this error?  Can I modify the stack file to get around this?

I have verified that the stack release in fact does not equal the source release.  The component in question is EHSM 400 SP04 upgrading to EHSM 400 SP05

Last error code set: Stack file is invalid: component 'EHSM' (stack release = source release, but KEEP not allowed)

I have not.  was actually waiting to see if you got anything from SAP.

I may try to use a previous version of SUM to see if that helps.

Try and check the ACP (Attribute Change package) of the impacted component - EHSM in your case.

Is it the latest one?

In looking at the files the Maintenance Planner added to my download basket, there isn't an ACP for the EHSM component, only the SP file.

Have you gotten any farther?

I managed to go past the error by updating the ACP and running SUM afresh

Just an update, adding the ACP for the component in questions fixed the issue.  I asked SAP Support why the maintenance planner didn't include the ACP in the downloads list and he said he didnt know.

Hopefully SAP fixes this as it's very inconvenient.
