Update delivery date in schedule line from confirmation in purchase order

Hello,

We have a requirement that user will enter the delivery date in PO-Item confirmation tab

On save it will update the schedule line delivery date in Delivery Schedule tab as shown below.

We have tried with BADI "ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST". But it will not help since method PROCESS_ITEM is not called for any change in Confirmation tab.

Other method like CHECK or POST is not useful for this since we can not use SET method inside this.

Please provide any other solution for this requirement. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dev

    It's not so true

    Working with CHECK Method is the best way to achieve your result IMHO.

    Even if IM_HEADER is type IMPORTING

    you can access the items

    data: t_itm_ref TYPE purchase_order_items,

    w_itm_ref type PURCHASE_ORDER_ITEM.

    t_itm_ref = im_header->get_items( ).

    and each item is an object

    LOOP AT lt_itm_ref INTO lw_itm_ref.

    with its own GET and SET methods

    And, magic!, they works 😉

      Hello Simone,

      Thanks for your response. Initially we have tried this option only. Unfortunately this is not updating EINDT(Delivery Date).

      Our code looks like below:

      lt_schedule = <lfs_items>-item->get_schedules( ).

      LOOP AT lt_schedule ASSIGNING <lfs_schedule>.

      ls_meposchedule = <lfs_schedule>-schedule->get_data( ).

      ls_meposchedule-eindt = '20160912'.

      CALL METHOD <lfs_schedule>-schedule->set_data

      EXPORTING

      im_data = ls_meposchedule.

      ENDLOOP.

      Please advice.

      Thanks

      .
