Hello,

I use  BO BI 4.1 SP5 Patch 6.

I would like to publish in csv format.

In a schedule, I can export in csv but not for publication.

How I can use publication to export in csv ?

Thanks in advance.

Dimitri

Crystal report do have option as csv in publication but for webi report you might have to use some external method(tool) to convert the excel output to csv format.

If I understand correctly, I can't use the following format (see below) in publication.

I would like to retrieve raw data used in report. In schedule, I can do the job with the format 'csv'.

Is it possible to make the same in publication ?

For me, it's not possible. Any workaround ?

Thanks in advance

Dimitri

Straightforward with Publication you can not.CSV option is only available with direct BO scheduling.workaround is schedule in excel via publication and dump the the file at some location. With some utility convert the file in CSV format.

If you are looking for raw data in CSV then why are you looking for publication?is there any requirement to split the files?

I make a publication because I need to split the report by client. In the company, we make a standard report for all client and I use the publication to show for a client only this data.

Maybe, there is an another solution. Any idea ?

You can achieve this only by publication as personalization, not via regular schedule. But publication does not support CSV if you are using WEBI document as mentioned above, only crystal publication supports CSV.

Might be worth an entry on ideas.sap.com though, me thinks..
